In this lazy weekend, while surfing I happened to notice a Tamil IT workshop. Tamil scholars and Tamil software developers and Tamil IT professionals meet annually. Interestingly this time it is organized in Germany by the department of Indology and Tamil Studies, University of Cologne. The workshop is named as International Tamil Internet Conference

Indology refers to the Indian studies, precisely the study of Indian culture, arts, history, language etc., It was very interesting for me to know that people outside India take loads of interest to learn about India and her culture :-) contrary to most Indian kids preferring to study Medicine and Engineering :-)
