It has been several days since my last post, so would like to sum up the things I done until now.
- Mid-East visit -
There are two faces of the visit; one is a productive side, delivering my presentation, attending the seminars, meeting people and networking. Another is the fun side, wandering around the city, exploring the new world (oil world), desert expeditions, trying to experience hot sun (trust me houses/cars/malls/bus stops are all air-conditioned making it feel me colder than Germany), new culture, new food, new dance and many fun activities. Most importantly I got any opportunity to meet my relatives and refresh the sweeter memories that we had. My cousin brother engaged me with all the mid-east fantasies, along with my cousin sister, her hubby and her cute girl “Shri”.

- Job hunt -
Oflate, this is the only fulltime work that I am doing. Not always the interesting task to do when you hardly get replies. So I am trying my best to hit a place and working hard to make my application as appealing as possible. Ofcourse, there are some fruits though none seem to ripe now. So there is another good learning here for life, which is Patience. Is it the key or lock?

- Charu’s visit -
Charu Deepti, the little angel and the sweet princess newly entered to our family, my sister’s daughter. My sister planned a perfect holiday and wanted to give a break to her man and me. So they are all here in Germany for a week, my lovely guests. It is a great feeling to be with them after a year. We planned our trips to nearby Bavarian counties and Austrian towns, to get off from the busy cities. We all enjoyed the nature’s beauty, Alps scenic beauties and experienced the absolute tranquillity of the locality. Though we had some tough time feeding Charu, but my sister and my brother in law made it well by their English nursery rhymes. Charu is so playful, sorry super playful and can easily make one happy with her smile. Certainly, who can compete with a child’s smile? I miss her a lot, waiting for the day to see you again darling.

- Telephone updates -
This is the awesome invention for the mankind, as it helps me to be in touch with all my dear ones. Keeping apart the private calls with family members, there are some interesting calls with friends. One such call was with a co missy, she studied with me though we hardly interacted during that tenure. Very recently we evolve some common interests and both agreed to refresh the friendship and have some meaningful conversation. I can confidently say that she is a good friend, not sure though what she can utter. Is it probably the high seas of Atlantic which separates us? Or you’re shy? The other call was with my buddy in India, he is a very cool and romantic personality. This time he was sharing his prolonged philia towards a girl, he sought some ideas to woo her. I wish him all success for his lady love and for his life. Another interesting call was with my school buddy who joined via skype from Singapore. He is extremely cool and jocund, was trying to make some funky videos out of him during the call, it is too funky to be posted here.

- Working to make difference -
Harinath, Ragu, Asif and me, together formed a working committee. Our aim is to create difference back home from the learning we have experienced/gained here in Germany. We meet once in a week in McDonald’s and discuss on different issues and development opportunities in India and neighbouring countries. Most of us share common interests like improving rural India, improving education, energy de-centralization etc., Harinath, the green/environment lover, is the man behind to get everyone together and facilitate the meaningful conversation. Our discussion are always cool sometimes end up in a debate which make us forget about the time. A small group to make a big difference.

Not to mention that it is a big post :-) :-)
