Weekend trip with a new group of friends to Nürenburg. Most of them are pursuing their doctorate and post-doc studies and indeed it was a mixed group with Indians and Germans. We spent good time in the city roaming and some shopping at the popular Christmas markets (Weihnachtsmarkt and Christkindlmarkt).
The city center looked very busy with Glühwein (kind of hot wine) enthusiasts enveloped by the hot aroma from the weisswurst (sausage) parlours. Frantic parents buying gifts for their children and taking them in several fun rides, watchful security personnels and of-course the endless lovers kissing and holding hands together walking around.
Until evening, we manage to visit the castle and a few other places and decided to energized ourselves in an Indian restaurant. First time in Germany I am in an south Indian restaurant, it is worth the €20 spent on the buffet which comprised of dosa, coconut chutney, sambar, and other dishes, a wonderful feast for all :-)
Back to Freising :-) thinking about my friend's comment he said, "I am more tired of Eating than walking :-) :-)". Perhaps !
Let Love & Peace be yours,
