Winter facts

Yesterday Freising had a freaky 10cm snowfall :-) people with cars have tough time cleaning/riding. For me walking in snow is always fun, so I hardly miss such an opportunity. I always imagine every dust of snowflakes falling on me to be like the flowers from heaven :-) :-) So I did walk, dance in snow; perhaps cycling was not a good idea as the bump threw me off the bike:-|I’m safe.

One side Snow brings fun, on the other it is hazard. It includes several road accidents, death due to winter exposure, closure of airports, delay or cancellation of local transport and many more. I wish 24th Dec be incident free, can’t imagine a situation my flight getting cancelled :-) :-)

I spoke with my professor Dr.Goetting and thanked him for his Christmas and Holiday greetings. Such a humble person I ever met :-) during our conversation he added that Emden had 30cms of snow. It is hard to believe climate irregularity and quite unusual to have snow in Dec. Is it the effects of human activity which resulted such a climate change :-(

Saturday (19th Dec) was the coldest day -15’c recorded for this year 2009. Today 21st Dec is the shortest day in terms of the daylight :-)
