Back in Business

Freising | 02:35am

It has been over a month since my last post in my blog. Yeah I am out of this world, too many tasks, responsibilities and commitments kept me away from recording my words. A fantastic trip to India, loads of fun with family members, relatives and friends.

All my 25 days at home were totally engaged, I wonder how it went so swift. Lot of improvements have made me wink to believe whether I am in India? The new international airport terminals, a bedazing summer, upcoming metros/sub-urban trains, ultra furnished tar speedways; new brands in car, couple of new buildings which made me tough to re-assure the place where I am and what not the changes.

Except me finding the environment very sound (may be noisy). The interminable toots of vehicles, sweepers cleaning the streets, milkman’s booms, birds chirping and thanks to the blaring loudspeakers of temple and mosques, singing devotional songs to chanting prayers on Allah helped me break my morning sleep and see the sunrise… really after a long time. But never complained about them as I don't want me to be categorized as a flaunt NRI.

Well many things to remember from my India trip and will try to collate in future posts. As we all bid adieu to 2009, the preparations to welcome 2010 was quite impressive. I am totally surprised by the New Year celeb at my home town; guys really do it in a western way. Lot of fireworks, people screaming ‘happy new year’, beeping sms’ and yeah 2010 has come.

New Year brings hope; make us adept the art of change which eventually brings opportunity. The positive energy that it brings along is tremendous. An ideal upshot, ‘To wish and to be wished’.

Back in Germany, Job hunt is seriously ON. It did have some improvement, and positive signs in terms of the couple of interviews and the chain of emails from my future employer. I have to thank myself for being in the path towards destination.

Today I am completing one year in Freising, Munich. The same day last year I am in the city, with lots of excitement about my first day at internship and can’t forget the restless house hunt process :-) I used to tell my then boss at work, “I found my thesis & internship much easier than to hunt a flat in Freising“. Though it has taken days to settle, the city is very beautiful and pleasant.

All right, today I had been to Munich with couple of new guys from India. So we planned a brief sightseeing trip around Munich, amidst bad weather we could cover BMW world (my favourite place too), Olympia park, a frozen lake, city center – Marienplatz, anIndian lunch (thanks to 'Satya gaaru'), a glimpse of the alliance arena coupled with a snow walk :-)

Back to my house, damn tired now, need to catch a good Z’s. For all you reader may happiness & peace be with you, love ‘u all.

Cheers | Jaybee
