After all it was a rainy day; the entire city had been totally drenched. I and my friend were walking home after this tiresome day at work. He was telling me the craziest things he has done so far. What was more interesting was the different proposal he made it to girls under different occasions."You're a real cheap fella", I screamed. Nevertheless I liked one crazy proposal that he narrated.
He began, "It was a summer evening, and I was in an airport lounge waiting for my connecting flight to Paris. To keep the time occupied I took my laptop out and started surfing the free WIFI. As usual I was into the same useless networking sites, but my world suddenly enlightened when I saw my 'girl' on-line. Having missed her for a long time, I began telling my feelings for her and at one point I proposed her". "What the crap", I exclaimed and accepted that this is one among the craziest thing one can ever do.
But thinking more, I wondered how on earth one can propose a girl living too far, just by simply typing in a chat window. It makes no sense, if you talk to you a girl whom you have hardly met, she has no idea about you, and she is still an introvert to you. Apparently, you have never taken her to a dinner, and more over you don't know if she is in a relationship.
I remembered the things which my professor told about relationships in some previous occasions. The best etiquette to approach a girl is to understand the thought process. Do Test the Waters, talking really helps in such occasions. Every person has an opportunity to talk and share one's ideas and thoughts, do respect their side of arguments too. An ideal proposal require some surprises, no matter how big the surprise but make it a real surprise to her and put as much creativity as possible. Most importantly, don’t expect her to say yes immediately, anything tastes sweet will take time to ripe or to get that state of sweetness.
But after hearing all these he said, “you are a damn single bugger and you can't really lecture on what it feels when you are love”. I saw him walking away, I understood there are no protocols and best practises guide to love and to be loved, after all love is blind...!!
